The two words you are dying to hear from your real estate agent: Mutual acceptance. Hearing those words brought tears to my eyes and I could hear the pure joy and giggle in Rick’s voice. It is obvious that he truly loves his career. To have someone you trust by your side made this tumultuous and emotionally-trying experience an adventure, rather than an experience. Rick was our consultant, our confidante, our coordinator, our caretaker. I highly recommend Rick for any real estate transaction. The balance of knowledge, expertise and listening skills combined with intuition, compassion and fun make him truly a one-of-a kind agent.
Our life would be very different today if we had not been introduced to Rick by a friend. He maximized proceeds from selling our house--far greater than other realtors said. We're in our condo because Rick dug into various sources to find the listing as it was happening, knew and helped arrange the financial terms to make the purchase happen, arranged early occupancy/early close because of an impending surgery. He introduced us to resources for needed services, guided and encouraged us through a horrible moving experience (we should have asked him for a recommendation). As a result of our experience, our daughter and son-in-law chose to work with Rick to buy a new home, moving 3 weeks after our move. Rick truly cares about people. He is also the consummate professional: he works very hard for his clients and is exceedingly effective in buying and selling real estate. And for us, he also became a good friend.
We have had the pleasure to work with Rick several times in the last 3 years. When we first moved to Washington, Rick was the best resource we had in helping us choose a neighborhood with top rated schools for our kids. When we were not able to find the right house in the small time frame we had, he helped us find a house to rent. One year later he found us the perfect house. He represented us well, and got us a fantastic deal. He has also been wonderful at recommending much needed resources to make the purchase/move as smooth as possible. We would highly recommend Rick to all our friends and neighbors.
I've worked with Rick three times to buy and twice to sell homes over the past several years - most recently earlier this year - and I'm a client for life. Rick is so knowledgeable, thoughtful and diligent that I just can't say enough positive things about my experiences during the process - and afterwards. He doesn't just drop you when the sale is final, he works with you to make sure transitions are smooth and any questions resolved. You won't find a better agent.
We met Rick when we were looking to purchase our first home. We were newly married and new to the state. We didn't know our way around; we didn't have family support or friends in the area. We met with Rick and expressed all of our concerns and wishes with becoming home owners. Rick guided us through the entire process and was very patient as we asked thousands of questions and viewed properties. We found a home that was exactly what we were looking for and we still live here (10 years later). We now have a daughter and are realize how lucky we are to raise her in such a great neighborhood and top rated school district. Our daughter wants to live here forever but if we ever decide to move again, Rick will be our first call!
Rick recently represented me in the sale of my condo (in the greater Seattle area). The process went very smoothly. While there we're (potentially) a few hiccups, during escrow, Rick worked with the buyer’s agent on a very timely basis, so everything moved along nicely, and the sale was consummated even more quickly than the original estimate/plan. His expertise on pricing the property, photographing it to best advantage, staging it appropriately, working with other brokers, and showing the property, combined to get the property sold on a timely basis, for an amount I consider to be "top-dollar". Impressive I can't recommend Rick highly enough! His knowledge base is vast, and his experience is as well. If you are looking for representation in the Central Puget Sound/I-5 corridor area, do yourself a favor and contact him. You won't be sorry!
